STAR PATENT SOFT RED WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Star Patent soft red wheat pastry flour is made from soft red wheat grown primarily in Indiana, Ohio, or Michigan. Star Patent soft red wheat flour is a straight grade product, creamy white in color. This product is unbleached and unenriched.
TYPICAL USES: This product is quite universal and can be used in many of those products characteristic of soft wheat flours. The primary product that is made with Star Patent soft red wheat pastry flour is cookies. The flour is also used extensively in doughnuts, biscuits, muffins, pies, candy, gravies, pancakes and other baked goods that require a soft wheat flour.
PACKAGE AVAILABILITY AND LOCATION: This product is available in bulk trucks, 100 lb. and 50 lb. sacks. Star Patent soft red wheat pastry flour is milled in both Ligonier and Quincy. Both plants are equipped to efficiently handle all package sizes.
This product is also packaged and marketed under our CARDINAL label.
