Star of the West acquires Citizens LLC

A Frankenmuth-based company recently acquired Citizens LLC, a Michigan-based grain handler and agronomy supplier.

Star of the West Milling Co. — which operates five flour mills, three agronomy locations, and 10 grain elevators — made the acquisition to increase its geographic footprint, and to bolster food-grade soybean exports, grain receiving and marketing, and agronomy services.
